Get a group together
Round up your friends, family, workmates or sporting group and enter Step Up as a team. We all know training with a buddy is much easier (and a heap more fun!) than going solo. So, why not get a group of four mates together to take on the challenge.
You can have as many teams as you like from the one company, school or group as long as you each have four members, a unique team name and captain.
Each team of four will be timed, with both individual and team times recorded.
There are prizes for the fastest corporate team and highest corporate fundraiser as well as individual rewards across a range of age categories.
So why not create a little cross-town and inter-department rivalry and challenge your competitors and colleagues to a race to the top.
How do I register a team?
Registering a team is easy! You can register online and create a team where you’ll receive your very own team web page. Through this you can organise your team members and manage your teams fundraising (both online and offline).
Remember all four team members must use the same ‘Team Name’ when registering.
Create your very own team web page!
When you create a team online you will be set-up with your very own team webpage. Use it to promote your participation, organise your members and have a little fun!
Customise the page by uploading your team or company photo / logo and communicate your team message.
Through your team webpage you will be able to:
- Manage all online and offline fundraising.
- Edit the team message, photo or fundraising goal.
- Send emails to potential sponsors and thank sponsors who have donated.
- Send emails to round up team members or communicate with existing members.
- Receive email notification of each new donation.
Your team page will display:
- Your team or company logo, message and fundraising goal.
- The name of each of the four team members, their photo and link to their individual web page.
- The team fundraising total including all the team members’ personal donations, online sponsors and offline fundraising.
- A list of all the teams sponsors, their name, amount they donated and their message to the team.
