Volunteer Positions

Please be aware that all volunteer positions have an early morning start, and requires volunteers to check in around 7.30am. This means public transport to
the event is not readily available.

Route Marshals: support participants by directing them along the course, advising them of approaching hazards, forming a communications network.

Site Marshal: assist with the installation & pack down of equipment and general site maintenance. Assist marshalling participants.

Cloak Room: receiving and storing (& returning) personal belongings of participants.

Registration: register participants on the day & distribute prepaid registration kits.

Signage: position/install and dismantle signage at the start/finish site and around the course.
The signage crew may be redeployed to assist marshals.

Information: provide general information to participants.

Time Keeping: using a stop watch provide runners with their finish time as they complete the course.
