MS Australia advocates for and on behalf of Australians affected by MS, as well as funding and coordinating vital MS research to better treat, prevent and work towards a cure for MS.
During 2020, MS Australia and MS Research Australia joined to create a new “MS Australia”. The Board of MS Australia has embarked on the development of a new Strategic Plan for the unified organisation and is currently consulting key stakeholders to obtain input into MS Australia’s strategic direction, which will inform and guide our future advocacy and research efforts.
We have detailed below some resources available to the MS community about our strategic planning process. MS Australia welcomes the involvement of our community and stakeholders in the development of this strategic plan.
How you can get involved:
MS Australia invites all people living with MS, their families, friends and carers, health professionals, researchers and the broader MS community to participate in our MS Research and Advocacy Priorities Survey.
Your opinions and advice will help us to understand which of the many different areas of MS research and advocacy are most important to you and the broader MS community.
Your responses will remain confidential, and it should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete.
You will only be able to complete the survey once, but if you need to take a break, you will be able to leave and return to the survey to pick up where you left off and/or edit responses on previous pages until you have clicked the ‘Done’ button.
The survey will remain open until 30 July 2021.

We would love to hear from you!
