There has been discussion today regarding commentary that the NDIS is unaffordable. Bruce Bonyhady sets the record straight on ABC's Ramp Up.
"NDIA Chairman Bruce Bonyhady says it's time to set the record straight: not having the NDIS will cost Australian taxpayers more and won't deliver any of the social or economic benefits.
"Commentary about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) being "unaffordable" is at odds with extensive, independent research by the country's leading economists.
"But without resounding correction - and the disability sector uniting to spread the message - this misinformation could be seen to be right and erode taxpayer support for the NDIS...."
