Finalist in the Fundraising Institute Australia National Awards for Excellence 2015

17 December 2014

MS Research Australia is honoured to be selected as a finalist in the prestigious Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA) National Awards for Excellence 2015 for our Kiss Goodbye to MS campaign.

This Award recognises the outstanding initiatives and innovative efforts of organisations, fundraisers and volunteers. They celebrate the hard work and successes of the campaign across the year and recognise the values of transparency, integrity, honesty and excellence.

The FIA Awards 2015 received more entries than in previous years. Judges agreed that this year’s submissions were of a particularly high standard and the competition was tight across a number of categories. The winners of the Awards will be announced at the FIA Gala Awards dinner on February 19th, 2015 in Brisbane, Australia.

The FIA is the national peak body representing the professional fundraising industry in Australia. Established in 1968, their purpose is to make the world a better place by advancing professional fundraising through promotion of standards, professional development pathways and measurable credentials so that our members achieve best practice. As well as this they investigate trends and issues of significance in the not for profit sector, consulting with industry and government in setting standards for fundraising practice.
