So that means in the northern hemisphere, those people living closer to the north pole are more likely to develop MS. In the southern hemisphere, those living closer to the south pole are more likely to develop MS.
For Australians, it means if you live in the southern parts of the country you are seven times more likely to develop MS than those in the northern parts.
