Sonia Marcon was diagnosed with MS when she was just 21 years old. 19 years on, Sonia is a key part of the MS community, and regularly dedicates her time to helping MS Australia – including being the voiceover star of our two animations: Invisible Symptoms and Connecting with Family and Friends. Sonia welcomed us into her home to share with you her MS story and talk about her involvement in the animations.

A reminder about PBS listing changes for REBIF and AVONEX

REBIF (interferon beta-1a) and AVONEX (interferon beta-1a) are currently used for the treatment of Australians living with relapsing forms of MS. Recently, there were some changes announced to their listing on the PBS.

From 1 April 2023, AVONEX will no longer be available on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) for Australians living with MS.
