The original Dreamgirl and Broadway icon…Tony and Grammy Award Winning…Jennifer Holliday is set to make her Australian Debut!

Famous for her huge hit and show stopping performance of, “And I Am Telling You, I’m Not Going” in the smash Broadway production of “Dreamgirls”, what may not be as well known to Australians, is that Ms. Holliday lives with multiple sclerosis (MS).

A passionate advocate for MS and spokesperson on the subject in the USA, as recently reported in the Sydney Morning Herald, Ms. Holliday is currently in remission and whilst the condition hasn’t affected her voice, it has taken a heavy toll on her body.

As Ms. Holliday says in the article, "If I can get an opportunity again at almost 60, then you can too. I want my platform from now on to spread love and hope, and to still do it with my same soulful passion."

With two Grammy Awards, nine studio albums, and five Top 10 singles on the R&B and Dance Charts to her credit, Jennifer will dazzle with her powerhouse vocals in two electrifying evenings of Broadway, jazz standards, originals, and soulful pop.

Her heart-wrenching performance of “And I Am Telling You, I’m Not Going” in the original production of Dreamgirls is considered one of the all-time great performances in a Broadway musical. Jennifer Holliday recently returned to Broadway in the role of sexy cabaret singer Shug Avery in the Tony-winning revival of The Color Purple. Read Jennifer Holliday’s full bio here
