Modifiable Lifestyle Factors: Vitamin D and Sun Exposure

Australian experts have teamed up with MS Research Australia to build an evidence-based lifestyle guide to help people living with the chronic neurological condition multiple sclerosis (MS) improve their disease outcomes by making changes to daily habits.

In this series we take a closer look at nine lifestyle areas and how they may impact those living with MS.

On this episode, Dr Steve Simpson-Yap discusses how sun exposure and vitamin D intake have a beneficial impact on risk or clinical progression. Studies have shown that it provides the same benefits as seen in the general population.
